Because we Mexicans also video-game
And we kick some ass at it !!

I dunno you guys, but I was wondering..
Wouldn`t it be easier to cheat if the game itself is in a pc?
I mean, there are a lot of hackers and i believe it would be easier for them to cheat.
Shouldn`t bungie and the H2V team focus in that? like firewalls or sth?

Wait...so what are you saying? That Bungie should NOT make it for PC simply because it's hackable? Or that it should have some built in firewall or anti-cheat?

Anything is hackable, even the Xbox. And as for the firewall/anticheat bit, they need to first encounter the hack before they release a patch to correct it.

The amount of detail I could get into here about how dumb that statement is, about firewalls and hackers getting into Halo PC is immense. It doesnt work like that. WTF and its much easier to hack an xbox....basically because they dont hack the xbox. Sure there are mods, but those are physical components installed by the owner so he can be an @$$. The cheaters on xbox arent hacking the box but gaining host and then using that host (since all the xbox's now have to run through the host one) for there own immensely stupid fun. So they are hacking the connection. PC is a whole different matter.

Not really. Different netcode, definately, but it is still connected via the Internet itself. It is theorectically possible to hack anything, as long as it is connected to the Net.

Why would anyone want to go to the freakin trouble of hacking into the netcode for a game? Unless it was ranked and you reeeaaally liked winnning lol. It would be easier to just activate mods of some kind in a personal server.
