Again, no-one is forcing you to play. Do you have any idea how much code it would require to allow for a modifiable FOV? Remember that this is not Halo 2.5 for the PC. This is Halo 2 for the PC. They're not rebuilding it, they're not re-coding it from scratch, and they certaintly aren't going to add hundreds of thousands of lines of code (for each degree of difference in the FOV, you'd have to have modified FirstPerson ARMs, modified player models, modified gun models, etc) for a feature that:
A. Hardly anyone would use.
B. Isn't actively employed by any other game developer.
C. Isn't native to Halo2.
Again, no-one is making you play this game. You choose to play it. If you don't enjoy your playing experience, then I hereby formally apologize to you and suggest that you choose to play something else.
Well, bitterbannana coded a program to make HPC have an adjustible FOV. It didn't need fixed player models at all. Also, the aditude you have it completly retarded. The, "Go away if you don't like it" thing. Bungie should listen to its community. The only thing they listen to their community about is matchmaking playlists. When someone suggests weapons and stuff shishka or acronos comes in and says, "You will use what we put in the game." and, "We make the game the way we like it. No matter what others say." Thats basically what they are telling us all. Anyways, Maybe not an adjustible FOV but atleast a permenate 80-90 degree one. Halo2 gives me a headache because it looks like you are zoomed into a sniper while you paly the game.
