I've already got Halo 2 for Xbox. So would there be any point in me getting it for the PC? I'm not even sure if my computer would run the game. But I'll just have to wait until they release the specs. Though I like the idea of map-making and the such. That's the good thing about the PC:customization. I dunno yet, as I might just wait to hear the specs.

I satarted Halo on the PC, but migrated to Xbox because of Halo 2.
I like the game on both, however for visual pleasure the PC wins hands down.
Will I get Halo 2 for PC on Vista? Yes, just for the high res.
Will I get a 360 when halo 3 comes out/ Yes because I cant get enough Halo and the 360 HD will bring the visuals almost in line with the PC.
trouble is with all this, its alot of £££. But we only live once.

I just get everything for everything lol. Played Halo PC forever, got the xbox for Halo 2, then reserved Halo 3, then bought the 360, then upgrading to a new computer so I run more software and Halo 2 with the new OS.

I think it's worth it because even though I won't be doing actual hardcore mapmaking, even I can tweak stuff like spawns, vehicle placement, and stuff like that to give maps a new twist. Like say you want a gametype called shootout...go to elongation, take out the boxes, and make it so you spawn facing eachother on each side of the conveyor belt...and there you go.

Also, sense you can share other people's maps, it will be like a new map pack every week. Sure, some of them will suck -blam!-, but others will own. So I am even shelling out $1,200 to buy a new alienware gaming computer to run the thing.
