In the top 7 reasons why halo 2 vista rocks Bungie talks about the live anywhere service. Maybe that means Halo 2 vista players can play against halo 2 xbox players. That would be awsome. And another cool thing for vista would to be have a friends list so you could invite people just like in Halo 2 xbox.

Edit: nooooo i read the FAQ and it say halo 2 vista players cant play halo 2 xbox players. Bungie should still consider it cause its an awsome idea. Or maybe they will have halo 3 vista players playing halo 3 xbox 360 players.

my 360s blog

Live anywhere in a few sentences:
a cross platform friends list will allow Vista gamers to send 360 gamers friend request and vice versa, vista gamers will also have acess to live marketplace meaning customisable dashboards and lots and lots of demos, trailers and community videos plus gamertiles. Vista gamers will have a gamercard and gamerscore and will be ranked alonhside 360 gamers good luck catching us up. oh the'll be unoique gamertags and feedback so don't be a jerk live users hate jerks.

No, dude, just no. It just wouldn't work out. You need to think of the consequences, the challenges, and the downsides of cross-platform gaming.

I think they should give it a try in Halo3. I know H3PC won't be out for a while but if they plan ahead and put the capatability into Halo3. They have already "proved" that joystickers can beat keyboard/mousers so the argument that it would be unfair is moot.

I disagree. Just like Halo 2 Xbox players, they'll be more experienced as they'll have a two-to-three year old head start since the game has been out for their platform longer than on ours.

While I believe that controllers do trumph keyboard/mouse it depends on the player alot. In the humpday KP said they used tactics and areas that the testers hadnt been to yet, imagine how bad it would be on live with the huge jump that 360 would have.
