God forbid you send me one of those I was checking for cool gamers and saw you messages too, I will scream to the top of my lungs and smash this damn screen/BlackBerry to pieces! You've been warned -_-
In Halo 2, there are 3 different melees:
Standing melee (weakest): Just melee
Dashing melee: Run to opponent then melee
Running melee (strongest): Jump then land on opponent meleeing them. Melee them right before you land.
Halo 2 had this new feature unlike Halo 1. In Halo 1, all melee had the exact same damage to the enemy.
Also in Halo 2, the heavy weapons (Sentinel Beam, Rocket Launcher, Fuel Rod Cannon, Brute Shot) caused an additional damage due to the weight of the weapon. So if your doing a hand to hand combat with a grunt, remember this post!
