i guess most of u have seen the movies and screenshots of h2v right.. why is the screenshots look so disgusting .. and the movies look hotttt ? :/ and it cant just be because it was on a hd monitor or w/e

It's because the game is still in development and what you saw are probably pictures of the early versions of the game.

maybe i didnt say it correctly.. the movies look GOOD; so why cant they take screenshots which also look GOOD

The screenshots were kinda crappy but the graphics, were basically good, however, they need to improve the texture quality and mesh poly count (model details), as well as make the bumpmapping more real, for the pc.
Thing is, bungie is busy with both H2 Vista and Halo 3, so they probably won't spend the time. Though it's not hard to do, and I'd volunteer to do it for them.... for free, hell!!! Just to do Halo 2 Justice on the PC.
Hopefully they don't keep H2V closed to the PC modding (not the cheating/cheaters!!) community. So we can go in and make H2V look awesome... I'm probably going to do a mod to improve graphical quality not long after i get the game.
PS: The video's look better because they are a lower resolution.

Because, dude, the picture seems much more alive and the crappy jagged edges aren't as noticable when it's in an animated video, whereas these visual problems are more easy to spot on a still-shot picture.
