That is just about the most super-fant-abulous-most-greatest-beer-drunk-kick-ass idea EVER! for many reasons...
1. the Longsword
2. the Jets
3. it's frickin HUGE
4. Vehicular Teleporters
5. You can down a whole tall-boy of Jeagermeister and crush it on your forehead before you get to the other end (whereas some other maps just keep you an your toes)
6. not a lot of spots for cheap n00b snipers (COME ON AND FIGHT LIKE A MAN!)
7. NUKES!
8. Tachikomas (though i like to be able hear the vehicles i drive, so that should be fixed) It's one thing not a to see a car coming, but i want to at least hear the honking horn or screeching tires before i die....
9. I like that the Pelican can go through walls...
10. I like the black battlesuits with just a bit of your team color. Makes it look covert, especially when people nuke the night-switch.
Some things that need improvement, but likely won't happen:
1. Pelican needs to be able to carry vehicles like in Coldsnap
2. Rocket launchers on right-wing of Pelican need to point straight instead of that 45 degree upward angle
3. Leave the tank as a tank. just cause it's a Scorpion doesn't mean you need to turn it into a SCORPION...that thing is butt-ugly....interesting to drive though
4. Nuke explosions need to BIGGER and have a radiation.....thing like in IceWing. Also some kind of "safety protocol" that doesn't allow the cheap n00bs to blow nukes inside bases. that just gets annoying.
5. instead of redundant/support seating in the Longsword, hows abouts some defensive guns, like primary fire would be high velocity, armor piercing rounds, and secondary would be a high velocity rocket launcher. the two redundant spots in the cockpit would be topside mounted turrets, the two guys in the back would be tail-gunners, and the guys by the hatch would have forward mounted lateral defensive turrets with 180 rotation (redundant to the right{starboard} side, and the support to the left {port}). of course co-pilot still gets nuke and missiles, but i think the pilot should at least get a forward mounted laser cannon...er....something sweet like that.
6. Gun turret in the back of the Pelican like in Coldsnap, but instead of sacrificing the sniper position (why am i saving them), you could program two snipers (one on either side)
7. ultimately the Tachis suck, get rid of them altogether
8. Some kind of fortress or fun building in the middle of the map...
9. CAVES AND TUNNELS
