Hey guys, The other day i went to best buy and i picked up Halo for PC, even though my PC never matched up to the specs it needed (my video card cant do lighting and shading, its an integrated one). So i went home and actually owned people for being a n00b. So anyways im saving up 3 grand from my horrible job for a new PC with a wide screen monitor (waiting for DX10 cards)i, So my question is can i Install my Halo 1 PC on my new PC, or do i have to buy it again. If i call ms and give them that number i got when i put in my CD key, will they let my old one work. I'm pretty much a n00b in pc gaming, i started PC gaming when doom came out, i played doom, doom2, quake 1 and 2, and the best was when my uncle got the marathon games, and UT on my PC. Never really PC gamed since then. so anyways thanks guys, later

Yes you will be able toput Halo PC on your new comptuer. Just make sure that everything and everything to do with Halo PC is deleted off your old one and then the Product Key sould work fine.

Oh, of course you can! Lots of people would be pretty pissed if you had to pay fifty dollars to install the same copy of your game on another computer after you already paid for it.

It's only illegal if you install them on different computers at the same time.

Which I always thought to be kind of stupid. I've got 2 PC's in the house that could run Halo. I never bothered putting it on both since I didn't feel like buying another copy. Although I might now that the price has gone down, and my old copy is getting pretty scratched. Ah well.

Actually not true you can have Halo on two differnt computers underone Product Key. Though when u install you dont get GameSpy Arcade and no patchs and no Online gameing. But you can play the campaing on the second computer.

Not true, but I don't know if you're being sarcastic, joking, or just messing with the new guy.

I believe that you can have Halo installed on two computers, but not actually running on them simeltaneously. Otherwise, how would the computer know the serial key was in use somewhere else. Of course, installing it on more than one computer is illegal, and Recon will arrive shortly to pound that into your itty bitty cranium.
