Should rockets be destructable. Have you ever been on sidewinder on the top floor of your base and had someone fire a rocket at you from the other end of the map, you can literally watch it coming at you. Imagine if you could snipe it out of the air.

I think in someways this could be a good idea, but in other its not so good, imagine trying to track a warthog with a lagg on the back, the lagg gunner could just fire everywhere and destroy the rocket.

And before someone comes on saying, no no thats a bad idea, i didnt say it was a good idea, i just thought of it now and wondered what everyone else thought?

I think its a good idea, why not, so now you can stop the most strongest weapons, thats good to me, the the rocket launcher now also has a weak point!!!!!

I suppose it may even out the new tracking feature, although im just worried, if bungie did use this, then the rocket may become useless at long ranges

but the thing is that the rocket launcher already has weak spots like its limited amount of rounds one clip can fire and the speed which teh weapon is relaoded.....if the rocket would go much faster, then maybe sniping it throught the air would be challenging and worth putting in the game......dont you think?

Maybe you could only defelct it slightly like when you throw a plasma grenade over something already exploding, it deflects into another direction. If you could snipe it you could send the rocket into the ground or straight up depending where you hit it

Interesting enough.

Though, the rocket launcher of Halo was plenty balanced. Why mess with a good thing?

Can't help but think - "If it 'aint broke, don't fix it."
