A message to Jack Thompson. Blaming violence on video games is like blaming spoons for making Rosie O’donnell fat

Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth."

It is a glitch, and one that has been happening for a while. We aren't quite sure what's going on (or at least I don't). It's a minor problem though. Just surf the forums for a few minutes and it should eventually disappear.

It's an odd little bug. Usually the "ghost pm" dissappears after a while.

Usually if it stays around for more than one click that goes to a new page ie. Your groups to a group home, then its a real PM.

Apparently it's only on the Firefox browser. (I believe I was told so by Recon, but I could be wrong.)

For the record, i'd piss my self silly if there was an Armatik action figure.

We get one of these about every week or so.

Anyways, Achronos said that because of the amount of servers Bungie.net has, sometimes it takes a little more time to process, because you aren't always using the same server, that would make it too easy to hack, so sometimes it might take a minute or two for it the congregate throughout the servers.

All of the above are from memory of Achronos' post[s].

That's not right, because I still get it every now and then, and I use IE.

Well, tell that to Recon.. :P Silly him. Or was it Jim? ...

Eh, either way, it's an error/bug/glitch-type thing. It's all one we have to cope with.

Ach! Was ist los?

The web team is working to fix it, along with a bazillion other bugs.

Until then, just think of it as a form of lag and deal accordingly.

Yep, listen to Just Another Fan, he knows what he's talking about. I've been having the problem myself and in my experience it only happens after you have read a private message within about 1 hour, or it is still in your inbox.
