Yea T3E i also agree with you, when they did make it for the computer it ruined it.
not to mention you need like a super computer to run the damn game, and also thats why they made they xbox. plus the best thing about console is that you dont need to pay like $500 a year to upgrade it when a new game comes out.

As of right now Bungie is only working on Halo 2 for the xbox and hasn't said anything about Halo 2 for the PC.
Personally i don't think they should come out with Halo 2 for PC. Halo 2 is xbox live compatable and xbox prizes are going down so i don't think Bungie should waste their time and money on one.

Actually I'm fairly sure I remember that they are releasing for Xbox only. That's not to say there won't be a PC port in the future, but, if there was, it would be well after Halo2 comes out on Xbox. Plus you'd need some kind of monster Alienware PC and a very spiffy cable connection just to run it I'd imagine.

if you read the halo 2 faq it says that there is no halo 2 schedueled to come out for pc. at least not yet. if it does it will come out way after its release on xbox, which for halo 1 was almost a 2 year wait for the pc version

I'd get an X-Box (if i didn't have one already) just to play Halo 2 whether its coming out for the P.C or not. I got my X-Box purely for the first Halo and having got both versions the X-Box has the better, only good thing about P.C is online play but thanks to xbox live thats no longer a concern and LIVE will be better than any other online play. xbox's are fairly cheap these days to, i can't see why pc users can't be bothered to get one to play a great game like Halo 2.

well seeing as you all arent old enough to remeber thin gs like intellevision or colleco vision you probably dont understand that a $2000-$3000 investment in a PC will last alot longer than a $250-$150 dollar investment in a console. When you are buying a new Xbox in 2 years for $ 300 , the PC gamer will upgrade his graphics card for about the same price, and continue to play the newest (coolest) titles coming out of places like E3. Also when the emulators are released that allow Console games (nintendo,Supernintendo,N64,PS1,PS2,Xbox) to be played on a PC. Then the PC gamer will Down load the games for free and play them. Furthermore just to remind all that play Halo now, it was a game designed for PC/Mac not Xbox. Trust me i still own the teaser video released years ago by bungie, before microsoft bought the rights to it. So before you judge PC gamers so harshly because of your lack of money to buy a nice PC. Remember that PC Gamers are just console gamers that think (and game) outside of the console box.

I bought a hi-end PC about 4 months ago and loved it... I wated the Halo 2 E3 2004 MP videos, and went out and bought a Limited-Edition Green Halo Xbox with Xbox Live just for Halo 2

Well i have this box, its filled with consoles (every one u can think of including ones that u have only heard of in rumor), and this box is in my closet. Now i like to think of this box as my "X" box. being that all of those consoles are a huge waste of money now that hey are no longer supported by the new "cool" games, and if i wanted a new game for them i would go to a garage sale. Being the consumer i am i choose to buy PC games for a system that wont be out of date for about 10 years (as far as game playing ability). All that i ask is that Bungie being the "software" company that they are will shed some light at the end of the Halo 2 tunnel for PC gamers. I dont think that console gamers are incorrect or non-intelligent for buying consoles, i just think that PC's are a better gaming platform when properly built to do so.

But in the end the console gamer has only spent at most $600 on the console and the PC gamer has spent at least $2300. The console gamer has more money to spend on games. And down loading games for free is piracy and illegal.

But if you want to wait until 2006 to play Halo 2 go ahead, by then I will be waiting for Bungie next game.
