I am using Mozilla to view and post in these Bungie forums. When I go to post a news article in one of the groups, I seem to have problems applying the formating. I highlight the text and click on the button, then select preview to see how it looks and the system gives me an error message "This section contains invalid HTML code." I did not write ANY "HTML code", so I am stumped on why this error is being generated.

Any suggestions? Has anyone else run across this problem.?

It's a known problem with Firefox atm.
Achronos could give you the long explanation, but the short one is "we are working on it"

Thanks for the info.... Thought it was my browser (and that may still be the case). I will wait for an update which corrects the problem.

Thanks again. dave

Known issue in Firefox, which I hope to get fixed on the next regular feature update.

If you are getting it in IE6, you should send a message to bnetbugs@microsoft.com with the exact steps you took to get the error so we can understand the problem better.

Just performed a check of IE6 and did NOT find the same problem..... It is just related to Firefox (Mozilla), like you said.

Thanks for the help. Later, dave

Didn't he say he was using Mozilla, not Firefox?

Mozzila and firefox are the same things.. almost exactly.
Mozzila is the company, and Firefox is the browser.

Wrong.

Yes, Firefox is one of their more popular products, but Mozilla Suite is one of their other browsers.

That's the suite, not the browser, and I'll bet that the suite includes Mozilla Firefox with it too.

Obviously he's not using an email program to access Bungie.net, so we assume he's talking about Firefox, unless there's another browser that Mozilla is working on that I don't know about.

When ever I initiate the Mozilla browser, The words Mozilla are displayed in the orange box. I am using a PC to access this site. On My Mac, I use Foxfire. I haven't checked to see if it has the same problem but I would bet it does. Not sure what the differences are between the two but I have always associated the two as similar in nature (originating from the same developer"s").

In the meantime, I have been using the IE6 browser to create my news articles (change fonts, colors, links, etc, etc, etc.....) I prefer Mozilla over IE6.

None the less,,,,,,,,,,,Thanks for the help. dave
