Ok I need a new graphics card currently I have a -blam!- Geforce mx4000. OK I only have PCI slots so what would be the best PCI card I can get? At least 128 mb with Pixel Shaders
is this card any good?http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E1681414508 7P.S.. I suck at upgrading
Why don't you go down to Futureshop, or Circuit City or some other computer place and ask?

If you want to play Halo 2 Vista (I know that wasn't your question, but whatever) go get yourself a new motherboard, some RAM, and a high-end PCI-Express graphics processor.
Nvidia GeForce FX5500, or the ATI Radeon X1300 are the best for you if you have PCI.
Not too sure if this is PCI or PCI-E, but its the NVIDIA GeForce 6200. I have an AGP 6200, and its a good card, but is really only suited for Halo and MOTOGP 3.If the 6200 isn't PCI, then go for the FX5500.[Edited on 9/2/2006]

Ge-Force 6200 PCI EditionATI Radeon X1300 PCI EditionThe Radeon X1300 is the better one, but the 6200 has a better price-performance ratio.
Okay thanks and no I dont want to run Halo 2, because im not getting Vista ill stick with XP and Linux
The best PCI cards are the GeForce 6200 OC and the Radeon X1300. I have the 6200 OC, and it runs Halo at a locked 30 FPS as long as I use 800 x 600 resolution and everything on high except specular.
