Hello all, i just finished building a computer. The problem is that, it took me a while to get it working and in that time, my brother trashed my room and i cleaned it. Now i finally get to installing windows and it asks me to put in the certificate of autheticity. The problem is that i cant find it. I am almost positive i threw it out while cleaning as well as the booklet it was on, leaving me with only the cd. Is there any way i can get another CoA through microsoft, or do i have to buy a new copy of windows. And please be serious, not whudda-blam!-stupidyouthrewoutthepaperwiththewindowskeyyoumor on kind of stuff. Thank you.

Um, dude, maybe going to the Microsoft site would be more helpful than here.

I have tried microsoft.com and couldent find anything, so i just checked here because i dont know if you can even get one. It would be kind of pointless to search for hours just to find out i cant. I am off to buy another windows cd i guess. Thanks for the help.
