Subject: Is it just me? HELP!

Okay, before the search feature was here, it took like a second to press the "new topic" button to make a new topic on my computer. Now that the search feature is here, when I pressed the "new topic" button, my computer "freezes" and it takes like two minutes until it gives you the page that makes you make a new topic. I have multiple computers in my house and they do the same thing. Is it just me, or are you having the same problems?

This doesn't happen when I reply to a topic though.

Please help! Just a few seconds ago, I used Internet Explorer and it did the same thing!

I had that problem for a while, except it happened almost every time I clicked on a link. Perhaps your problem will disappear in the next update to the site, like mine did.

I have Mozilla Firefox.

Usually FireFox is an issue for this website. I used to be on FireFox to, but the scrolling for me was a bit etchy, so I switched to something else.

It's probably just your computer. Try deleting your cookies or restarting your computer.

I haven't restarted my computer to try to fix this problem, but I have shut it down, and then used it again.

Sorry, but I'm not a computer expert, but what are cookies, in computer terms?

Phrog pilots, reckless and free. We would strap into our birds, set the engines on fire, and leave these earthly bonds with a chorus of WHOP WHOP WHOP. Akin to beating your chest and howling in defiance at the rest of the world.

Send an e-mail to bnetbugs@microsoft.com and include what operating system you were using and any other information that might help them recreate the problem.

Although waiting to create a topic isn't all that bad of a thing. ;)

I havn't had a problem creating new topics, but my browser does "freeze up" when I sign in and when I click on other links such as the quote button, submit post button, or when I try to access my pm's....I think it just because my computer is screwed up though...Damn Norton Internet Security.

Are you using Windows? I don't know a thing about Fire Fox so I don't know what it runs on. Go to tools>internet options>delete cookies.

Firefox can run on anything.

Firefox tends to act up on b.net, but it may be a bug.

Its more likely to be a Cache error, on Firefox go to Tools - Options - Privacy Tab - Cache Tab - Clear Cache Now (button). Or you can just hit Ctrl + F5 which does the exact same thing.

Although sending it to bnetbugs is never a bad idea, but since it appears to only happen to him, chances are that the problem is not server side and therefore Bungie can't do much to help.

My computer "freezes," meaning that if I press the "new topic" button, the screen freezes, but I can move the mouse and press other things. It then "freezes" for like three minutes and then it displays the page where you can make the topic.

there are no theories. There are no answers. There is only...

Skiptrace™

Windows Update, Virus scan, spyware scan, upgrade to latest version of your browser, feed the mice in the case.

But yeah, bnetbugs@microsoft.com may be able to help you.

Yeah! It now works. I just had to upgrade Firefox.
