This is a reasonable question. So I request not to be Blacklisted for asking it.

How do you become a Moderator on the Bungie site. I have asked like 5 people and the answer is the same. "What do I look like a Mod?".

I used the serch but came up with nothing. I don't know what it would be under.

First rule of Mod Club. Don't talk about Mod Club.

Second rule of Mod Club. Don't ask to be in with the Mods. When the time is right the Mods will ask to be in you.

Eating the Path also helps.

Warrior, Bungie's web team select people when they think they need new ones. They contact you, not the other way around.

As to what happens after that is a secret no mod would ever reveal.

Okay maybe people don't read. I want to know how a said person becomes a moderator not answers meant to make yourself look smart.

You don't ask to be in the mod club. The mod club asks to be in you.
And yes, wet noodles, hippos, and server closets are involved.

And pregnancy tests, eating body parts, and nekkid pics of Stosh.

Jesus I am not asking to be in the "Mod Club". I am asking how they hire them. I don't want to be one i just want to know so people won't need to ask me. And I am going to go crazy if one more person says "Mod Club' its not a Club its a job! There is a difference!

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Those answers are the answers they probably got from the mods when they asked. Everyone always gets the same answers. I'll attempt to answer your question though.
I think they like it if you always use good grammar.
They also seem to appreciate maturity, & helpfulness.
I'd imagine some technical knowledge is a qualification.
You probably have to be here for some time, and you probably must be very active(at first at least)
You must always follow the rules when posting.
You must never act like a forum cop prior to becoming a mod.
And most importantly, you must prove to the mods that your responsible and that you'd do your job efficiently and correctly.
I don't understand why everyone wants to be a mod, it takes up free time, and it takes the fun out of using the forums. If all you do is browse the forum, locking this or editing that, you can't feel the community spirit as strongly because all you see of it is the dark side. Well, I hope that was enlightening.
