Its probably just because I love power but I really like being active in alot of groups (including my own). I cant moderate on the main forums (I want to though, I like power) but I am a moderator in half the groups that Im in (and im a damn good one too...Bungie).

Anyway thats beside the point. Who here likes group particpation more than main forum posting?

PS - once we get some more screenshots for Halo 3 I'll be all over the main forums again.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I like chapters, but I prefer the main forums. I have mod status in only one chapter, so I don't have that power trip thing going. In the main forums, there are more jerks and morons, but I like at least reading what they say (sometimes). Thats just me though.

Sigs just aren't what they used to be.

He watches every Hodgetwin video they put up...on ALL their channels. He calls them the Hodge Triplets, and considers himself the 3rd triplet. He's started talking and acting like them now. Every other line out of his mouth "Thaaas some BULLLLLL**** maaayne" or "Gotta make dem gainzzzz". He calls his biceps "gains". When he eats post-workout, he talks to his biceps, "Don't worry gains, I'm feeding you. Daddys gonna feed you, gainz *kisses biceps*".

I'm uaually always in a group. If I do venture you into the scary world of public forums, it's only Here and the Flood.

The Frozen Minority - The most infamous clan borne from the Seventh Column.

Well I prefer posting in my chapters but there is little activity.

I post around in lots of chapters...although they aren't very active, at least I have somewhere to post and have fun.

I post more often in my groups, but that is only because there are more of them. I rarely post here now because there and less and less threads I feel like replying to. But since the groups I am in are small in somewhat inactive, I post in them rarely as well.

Exactly the same for me. I don't know what it is, but I can hardly ever find a thread that I actually want to reply to. Sometimes I write a reply, but cancel because it doesn't feel right.

OMG - Gaming for the fun of it in the UK and Europe

Groups are generally full of like-minded people, not mindless drones that post crap or topics that have been done to death many, many times.

Plus:
* All the speculation / speculation on the speculation in the Halo 3 Forum makes my brain hurt.
* Optimatch is full of OMGZORZBBQ Carnage is Garbage, and other such outburts, not rational discussion.
* New Mombasa just isn't Zanzibar. *Crys for Zanzibar*
* The Flood, well that's just as repetitive as Halo 3. Aside from the excellent Diplomacy Game thread. w00t Turkey!

Become the hunter.

I like groups, but that's cause I know people in my groups better (usually). The Septagon is the only public forum I visit for the most part. The rest are kinda scary.

To me the main forums like New mombasa and Halo 3 forum just isnt orgainzed enough. Too many people posting, so essentially your post get "lost"

well, I moderate or am high ranking in pretty much all my groups but I prefer the main forums because of the interactivity between members. They always active and are usually nice (you get a few jerks though). But overall it's pretty enjoyable. The bungie team is fun to talk with. I like how they actually go on there forums and interact with the community.

I like posting on the main forums, but it's almost an endless sea of random thoughts where you don't know where you're going. You can't see the shore, you find friends occasionally, and the waves can knock you underwater. But as soon as you wash ashore, there's your groups hut with it's carved cocoanut statues and a small fire to keep you warm. That's when you see your buddies and feel at home, and gives you time to rest up before taking your little boat back out into the sea.
