God, I feel my blood pressure rising.
I bet you wouldn't understand really. You'd be pissed off if the biggest Xbox game ever was being developed in the UK and wouldn't be out in the US until weeks after. Maybe I should suggest to Peter Molyneux that he hold back Fable for a couple of months?
Fact is, Microsoft would be silly not to publish in the UK at the same time as the US, for two reaons: 1) There are a huge number of fans in the UK. Japan can be ignored, because FPSes aren't very popular there. 2) There isn't much translation to do, only a brilliant PAL conversion.
goweb is right, I lived in Europe for years and had to get used to getting titles months after the U.S. got them, although I live back in America now. Believe me everyone, if Bungie announced it was going to be released in Europe et. al. on Nov 9th, and the release date for the U.S. was "TBD" you'd have countless fans screaming and crying at the top of their lungs. We Americans should quit our -blam!-ing about the release date, we're lucky to have one. So let's all lend a sympathetic ear to the non-U.S. fans and hope the release date is the same or at least shortly thereafter.
