Has anyone tried the Max Theater 175" Big Screen?? (http://www.maxtheater.com/) I was wondering if this is something that really works or is just a cheesy gimmick!! it sounds neat, and its only $16.95!! It would be really cool to play Halo 2 on a 175" screen, but if the resolution blows then it probably wouldnt be worth it. I was just curious to see if anyone has used or heard anything about it.

Yea, I was thinking about ordering that soon. Looks like it could work provided that you don't mess up. Picture should be as clear as the tv, probably would help if you had a nice surface to project it on.

A friend of mine bought a similar projection kit on ebay for 15 bucks and it was awful. It is true when they say you get what you pay for. I wouldn't waste the money on it. On the other side I did have a friend that modified an old overhead projector by removing the glass and placing a small tv there and then projected it on the wall. It wasn't crystal clear, but it was pretty cool. Those old projectors can't cost all that much since power point is so popular.
