While I realize it's safe to assume that vehicles in multiplayer will respawn, I'm a little confused on how it will be done. Surely they have a designated spawning point, and time period before they respawn, but doesn't anyone know (more thoroughly) more?

What else is there to know? To add, vechicles might respawn automatically to thier starting points after a set period of inactivity, like in HaloPC.

Perhaps a 'hog gets stuck or trapped somewhere and it can't be accessed or removed? That was why vehicles respawned in such a fashion.

Well, first off - I was hoping for some specifics, thus the "more thoroughly" comment.

Secondly, the Halo I'm familiar with, does not allow vehicles to respawn after "inactivity." Presumably, you're referring to Halo PC, which is really of no concern to me.

Thank you for the response, regardless.

The "friggin vid" aslo had an Energy Sword lying in the middle of the beach. Additionally, the enemy (or defender) spawned on the beach. The point is, the spawning points were obviously altered for convenience issues regarding the showing at E3. I doubt that a Warthog is going to reappear three seconds after it's predecessor has been destroyed.

I had NO intention of "bumping" the thread. In the future i'll keep the "Edit Post" option in mind.

Please do not bump threads. Use the edit button to add to the previous post.
To give you a clear answer: there is no specific info regarding vehicle respawns other than what has been shown at e3.

maybe right now bungie is working to fix having a vehicle respawn on you, or have you respawn under a vehicle or have you respawn on a gernade which seems to happen a ton to me.

bungie is like the scrubbing bubbles. they work hard so you don't have to.

In theory vehicles shouldn't respawn as soon as they're destoyed, otherwise the team will place no value on them. A vehicle is something to be looked after and if you go off an destroy it you should have to suffer without it for a bit.

If vehicles instantly respawned it would make destroying them a lot less usefull to the defenders.

I also doubt vehicles will resapwn after inactivity, otherwise you wouln't be able to use vehicles as barriers or boobie traps.

like so many other things in multiplayer you probably can edit it. If I know bungie they are gonna have a Respawning vehicles ON/OFF switch in the edit gametypes.
