Good to see at least somebody takes this place seriously

I am sincerely disappointed in everyone except JIMH. JIMH, have a gold star.

I'm not sure if this is old, but I discovered a glitch in the voting system for poll questions. Merely by going to another thread and voting I am able to go back to and vote as many times as I want. I feel this makes every poll results on this site capable of being warped into a person's favor.

I just tried to do that and I wasen't able to vote more than once for each poll.

Of course, every poll on here has had the capability to be warped by a single person since cookies keep track of what polls you have voted in.

I just voted in the flood for "Super Baby" 30 times and I could easily do more. I'm not hacking as I have minimal computer skills. Go check it out for proof. Just vote and switch back and forth and then vote on a different poll and come back to the original place where you voted.

I'm using Firefox. But when I logged out and switched to IE I was unable to do it. I think it is probably that.

I'm using IE 7, and I can't do it.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

I'm curious if anyone experiencing this is using a public computer. If cookies are disabled, I think you might be able to vote as many times as you want. I'm not sure, though, because I'm using a public computer right now, and I could only vote once. Hmm... let me try FF...

Nope. I can't vote again using Firefox.

The cookies (or lack thereforof) are the only things that would do that.

If I'm not mistaken, you can't even use this site's forums without enabling cookies.

I didn't know that. Then again, I've never disabled the cookies on my computers. But come to think of it, they're probably required for the Passport sign in, and to stay signed in.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Yeah, I can also sort of do that when I switch browsers. Though I can only vote once per browser. I guess all you can do is try not to abuse this bug too much.

It's a common mistake, someone will make a poll and then say "See Bungie? The votes are in and 3,000 to 3, people WANT a zombies playlist! So now do it." Sadly, it doesn't work that way, and the faulty nature of the polls don't make the demand any more valid.

Great. Now we are going to see ten thousand threads how Zombies won't be in Halo 3, because "Recon said so."
