i just downloaded the demo of halo, and expected it to run good on my 20 inch new imac with a 1600ati 256mem dou core intel processor

but when i got into the game their was alot of horizontal tearing, and slowing
no matter how low i put the settings, and need to know if this is because im playing a demo or my computer just isnt good enough.

any suggestions would help alot

Tell me your RAM, and your Processor Speed. I am not a Mac user, but my grandma is, which lets me learn about Macs. So I might be able to help you.

P.S:Could you please turning all fo your abbreviations into words, and put punctuation marks in there, because it is sorta hard to read.

Weird. Your graphics are good, and your processor is good. It might be the demo itself, or you just downloaded a corrupt version of the demo. I'd deleted the demo and Re-download it if I were you.

BTW, you spelled Duo wrong. And putting periods at the end of your sentences and capitalizing the beginning letter of a sentence would help. I'm not flaming you, just helping you in Language Arts.

Um...I'm pretty sure your computer can't download the demo that fast. Also, I told you to delete the older demo. Oh wait! Is there any Demo patches for the Mac Halo Demo? I think those should fix your problem.

I googled it, and nothing useful came up.

I think my demo version is 1.5.2.

It's weird I just played with its settings maxed, and it ran the exact same as it did with its setting all the way down.

If anyones sure its the demo then that would be very useful, because then I just can go buy the full version.

Stop posting more than once dammit, you can edit your posts. See? You just edited that last post right there.

It's probably just because Halo is poorly optimized on the computer and therefore even though it should work just fine on your Mac, it doesn't.
