Fable was average. It was too short by a mile, and way to freaking easy, but it was somewhat enjoyable. However, Fable doesn't even come close to Morrowind. It's too closed off, there are only six or seven different types of weapons, and there isn't very much variety in NPCs.
I made the mistake of buying. I would rent if I were you. The game is so short that you can finish it two or three times before you return it.
Oh, and about the ending... Keep the Sword of Aeons, then watch the credits all the way through (without skipping anything). Trust me on this one.
DO NOT BUY IT. You will regret spending $60(Canadian). Too short. Barely anything to do. It really sucks. It's like an M+M, the stuff that is on the inside is somewhat good(a little) but would you rather have an M+M or a complete meal? The game is insanely short. It isn'ta slow, fully customizable game like Morr. At somepoint in the game for you feel like you've completely changed from being a little kid that can hardely kill a Bal. to a hero that can kill multiple. Far before the end of the game you feel the "nothing even stands a pathetic chance against you" feeling. Once you beat the boss, you will be able to play on(after watching the 5 hour credits) but there is no point. You have the sword of Aeons. You could kill everybody in the game with minimal dammage. And there are no quests, all you have to do is go attack somebody, exit the area(because once yo leave it resets), enter again and kill them all. The only thing you have to stay awake to play is the arena and possibly Maze and even he is a pushover. If you are trying to be dark, you can't attack anybody that attacks you like a bandit because you get goodside points. It really sucks, DO NOT BUY IT. I made that mistake too. I thought "well it is really hyped up and looks like a really good game and is supposed to be one of the best games of the year". I hope I've convinced you.
