is it legal for me to start my own site with halo2 stuff on it with some pictures taken from xbox and bungie sites?

Of course its legal! as long as you say where the pics are from, dont sell them, or say you made them (if u didnt).

I do recall someone mentioning that there are certain graphics that Bungie is cool with. But me remembering that "some guy said, I think" wouldn't protect someone from the MS legal ninjas. If you are going to copy something from a site to use it on yours and they have not posted a "help yourself" sign, ask before you copy. In this case, I would ask Sketch, Frankie, or Shishka in a PM or e-mail.
Yeah sorry i left that part out. Hes right. Or you could just draw some cause then theyd be your own :)
