Speaking as a customer, we got a substandard game (many basics were missing, and everyone knows about the netcode. And the game taxes a PC more than it should).

I noticed that it was said that all parties went over the netcode, so for that at least it makes them all guilty in my book. For a major game to be released like that is unforgivable.

Getting back to the point, I think they should put as much in as possible. I cant see why people are complaining about affecting gameplay.

How does a walk key affect gameplay? So you have the option to move a little slower?

A holster weapon option would be good. Certainly handy for those people making various vids and such.

People like having options, so stick as much in as possible.

Very well. I agree we are both in no position to really argue this, and that it probably shouldn't be done here. I think what pissed me off so much was the disrespect that was undeserved. I think that was my point.

Exactly, if they have the extra time since the game is already completed and just needs to be tweaked for a PC, why not?

The only reason would be it is redundent. The crouch acomplishes the same thing as well as making you harder to see and makes it easier to sneak behind cover beacuse of your height.

Actually, it helps with making minor adjustments to sniping greatly, especially near ledges that crouches can't see over. Also if you wish to see over said cover while still moving a walk is useful.

I still think we should have a walking feature. Just because we can.

Also, I think we should keep the fire-arm animation where the gun is lowered when you hold the left trigger down. That would be leet for machinimists.

H2 Vista machinima FTW!

If Ltrigger is lowered gun animation, what's grenade?

Well, you see, when you're playing on a local area network on split-screen or with system link with other Xboxes, pressing the down button on the pad of the controller shows the lowering animation. However, over Xbox Live, if you hold the left trigger (assuming you have no grenades left) it will show you lowering your weapon. So there is a minor quibble, you have to throw away all your grenades before the animation is shown. (Actually, I'm not sure about this, but if you hold down the left trigger after throwing a grenade, the animation can still work, you just have to sacrifice a grenade in order to do it.)

Maybe on H2V we'll have the gun-lowering animation when pressing down the down key on the arrow keys.

Well, digi, if you actually read the title of this thread you might find out the relevance of the subject we're talking about right now.

This might not be 'simple', but how about a Worms-style weapon modification tool, where you can set differen options for weapons, without having to create/mod a map. No more lenghty discussions on modding weapons clogging up B.net.

Actually, to lower your weapon in Halo 2 like the guys at RvB make their characters do, you just tap down on the D-pad. You can't tell me that Bungie put that feature in without the incentive of helping out machinima. It really doesn't serve any other purpose. :P And there already is a walking animation in Halo 2, so I don't see why they shouldn't have a walk key in the PC version of it.

Did you actually read my post, retard? I said that when you're playing on a local area network on split-screen or system link that if you press the down button on the D-pad you'll lower your weapon.

Oh, I just read it too fast then. And what is everyone's problem on these forums? I guess I'm a retard just for overlooking a small piece of information in your post. Chill the -blam!- out.
