That's right!! A wishing ring for halo 2 multiplayer! What do you want in it? What don't you want in it? This is to prevent potential spam and to get everyone's ideas in one place, instead of scattered throughout the forums.

NOTE:THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL BUNGIE POST. Anything you say here is NOT guarenteed to be read by Bungie employees or put into Halo 2 Vista. But it still doesn't hurt to say your ideas.

edit: THIS IS NOT A THREAD DESIGNED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT CAMPING, 9-YEAR-OLDS, etc. If I had wanted that, I would have titled it: "Official multiplayer complaint thread" or something. Besides, Bungie does not set up the multiplayer games, GameSpy does that.

Well first I think there should be a LAN co-op (LAN is the only stable way). And if theres going top be anti-cheat software, please, oh god please make sure it's not punk buster. Thats really about it, bungie did an almost perfect job on Halo 2's multiplayer for the Xbox. Theres really not much to improve on in multiplayer from my opinion.

Who gives you the athority to declare an official Halo 2 Multiplayer Thread? For your information, there already is a Official Halo 2 Vista Suggestion Thread. Made by someone with some actual athourity. And as you'll notice, it's got 34 pages. Kinda late to the punch, dude.

Uh, this is for multiplayer. Yeeesh.
Online-release map packs. Official maps made by Bungie. Bungie, not everyone with HEK.

ok, the first post has been updated, read it before posting. srry about the whole official thing. i should have thought twice about that.
and now: my ideas.
* (more general game than multiplayer, but leaning on multiplayer) support for the XBOX 360 controller.
* complete blocking from multiplayer with devmode enabled
* support for h1 maps
* warhog with Guass cannon available in multiplayer

ok, either I never said anything about it being an official thread, or one of the moderators deleted it. I apologize for anything that may have offended you with what I said. and, just out of curiosity, what do you mean, "someone witth some actual authority"? that person is a member just like you, and just like everyone else who has replied to this thread so far.
(ok, now I will get back on topic, and everyone else will, hopefully)

I just want one thing, above all else, even though I know it can be hard to do: on-line co-op mode.

Come on, I've seen it happen with excellent results in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. I know it won't be easy but I bet it can be done.

Hell YES. Hopefully Bungie will sort out the sync problems that Gearbox had for H1 so co-op's available this iteration.
