Actually since youre recording getting 45-60 fps that makes your videos less consistent in framerate now. When you compressed the video and uploaded it to putfile it automatically set the videos frame rate to 30 fps. Since your fps was between 45-60 before compressing it you will now have slight jumps in your video because the different framerates. Not too noticable but I did notice it a bit. Watch at the 3:00 mark when youre using the pistol. Thats where I noticed.
Youve seen my video right? I recorded at 30 fps to keep the finished videos smooth. In game my fps never went below or above 30. There are times where it would jerk but that was because windows movie maker having a hard time compressing the 60 or so GB that my videos took up into 38MB. I used fraps so... I got it as smooth as i could though. Also the version I put on putfile is only 14MB. Pretty good for only 14 MB huh?
The human eye can see more then 24fps. I can tell between 30 and 60 easily while in a game.
Oh btw the music was sick. People seem to like rage against the machine in their videos. Good snipes but I would have prefered shields. It would have seriously kicked ass if your opponents recorded the same game then we could see what it looked like in their view when they killed you or what it looked like to them when you killed them
Ah yes, thanks for explaining that. That makes sense, and thanks for the props on the music. I have many more montages if you want to check them out. You can see how I progressed from some of the first, to the last.
I am using a program called, "Ulead Video Studio 9" now. I have made two with this program, and has many more effects. You can also control brightness, duration, and position of these effects. The best thing about it, it doesn't break up into a million seperate sections like WMM does. It will show from the time you enable recording on Fraps, to the point when you disable recording. Makes it much easier (for me) to use.
Peace.
