The few, the proud, the leet.

The Ghost needed a little project to get him back into the C#, so he made up this little app. If you want to install CE, have PC installed, but cant find your CD key, this will give you what you need. Head on over to the H2Vista.net forums to discuss and get a running start with H2V when it is released.

I ask that nobody post direct links to the app or its host page in here.

funny, I used it, (I have my own CD key btw) and it's nothing like my original CD key.

I have kept the same halo pc CD key since I bought it, I never lost it, I even saved the key to my MS word, and the one on there is nothing like mine.

ha ha I am a total loser, it only says "not a real CD key"

wow that is the dumbest moment I have ever had.

that's a good find, it works.

Yeah, it's an exe that you'll need to download. I'm pretty sure that having something read through your registry in an internet browser wouldn't be considered friendly by the MS security programming department.

More than 4, I assure you. As far as I can tell, all M$ stand-alone apps have a 25-digit key. I'm looking at my Office Basic Edition 2003 right now.
Let's see, 25 digits, to the power of 36 (10 numbers + 26 letters, correct me if I get this wrong) is, uh...
2.1175823681357508476708062516991e+50, according to calc.exe.
. /\/\/\ OMG
That is a lot of possible cd keys. Anyone care to calculate how much storage capacity you would need for that?
-EDIT- And it works, too.
