*whacks the non-believers with my VISTA STICK*
There is a reason why Halo 2 PC is only for Vista. There is new, better code in Vista that does things that XP does not do! Plain and Simple, XP as of the release of Vista is outdated, 5 year old OS that has lived longer than expected. These new things in Vista aren't just "MINOR" upgrades, this OS has a new base archetecture, re-written kernel, and freaking NEW CODE FOR SOFTWARE! There is no more "oh we can make this fine product work on outdated OSes", this is a BANG in the nutz for the support of old OSes. DirectX 10 had been designed so that to be "DX 10 compatable" the video card has to support ALL of the options in the DX 10 code. There will be no more "We support this, this, this, and this; but sorry, were to damn lazy to support this feture...".
In conclusion...
*WHACK* goes the Vista Stick!
