It has been brought to our attention that someone is sending fake emails form "bungie.com" (we're actually Bungie.net and we never email you about your account details or security.) and we have to assume the sender of the mails, often with a zip file attachment, is up to no good. Simply delete and ignore them and never, ever open a file from a sender you don't know or trust.

Wow, that looks real, but if I got a Email from them, I'll just reply with some of my SPAM mail I get, and tell them to go get a life, that is stupid.

Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks for the heads up !
Heh word must have gotten out that bnet visitors are easy scam targets. It's obvious from the amount of groups that go down because people give out passwords and security roles.
What a world we live in. I haven't gotten any E-mails like that, or from Bungie.net altogether. Btw, did anyone else notice the spelling mistake in the summary? It says 'form" instead of 'from'
Wow, this really sucks, some idiot doing junk like this.[Edited on 9/16/2006]

Like a few others said, I haven't gotten one yet, but I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks Frankie.
