Ok, in the books, everyone sleeps in cryo naked? But the chief weares his armor? And in the books, they need to cough up some fluid, but the Chief doesn't do that either? Any explanation?

hmmm that is a good question.
Maybe he can't take off his suit or it provides a good enviroment for being frozen in so he keeps it on
I have no idea about the liquid thing though

MC slept in his suit and when he was rewakened almost his entire body was covered in blisters (under his armor) and i dont think they gave him the weird liquid because his lungs would be protected by his suit
the fluid is used to make sure your lungs dont shrivel up or something. Im not quite sure, its in the first 20-50 pages of the flood

But when he woke up, that guy sam, that was killed, said, "mmm, no freezer burns"

Well, as for the suit thing, he basically just toughs it out. And I think by "freezer burns" they mean the kind of stuff that happens to meat when you put it in the freezer.

As for the fluid, maybe he coughed it up in the suit? maybe the suit allowed him to not need such fluids? Perhaps it was such a short cryosleep that it would be foolish(the fluid give you proper nutrients and moisture and all that so you can survive the cryo sleep.) to give him some of the stuff?

read teh books, they say that MC did have blisters all over him underneath the armor.

found it

"most soldiers went into cryo naked, since covered skin reacted badly to the cryo process. Sam had once worn a bandage into the freezer and discovered teh affected skin blistered and raw when he woke up.
The Spartans skin must have hurt like hell, he realized. Through it all, though, the soldier remained silent."
page 20 paragraph 4-5 The Flood

"it felt good to move around, and the cheif quietly flexed his fingers. His skin itched and stung, a side effect of the cryo gasses, but he quickly banished the pain from his awareness"
page 21 Paragraph 3 The Flood
