Ok we just bought a new Dell and I'm wondering if I could run Halo:PC on it. The only thing I could really tell you about it is that its a Dimension E310 and it has Windows XP. Please don't flame me too much for owning a Dell.

We really don't care if you own a Dell. Dell has been making some decent gaming PCs lately.

But we will flame you for not telling us your specs. Chances are, you will be able to run HPC. It's an old game, so it probably will run it. Also, use common sense - download the demo and try it for yourself!! If the demo can run, then so can the game.

E310 - 2.8ghz HT Pentium 4 Processor, 512mb RAM, Intel Integrated GMA 900.

You should be able to play Halo fine. Not on max due to that intel integrated GPU, but it will be playable.

Agreed. But you'll probably go to a new GFX card later though. On my old desktop, I ran Halo on an Intel Extreme 2 for about 5 months. Elites and Grunts were gray, all MC's were gray with black visors, the textures are seen in the environments, and every character that has color in the game are less detailed. I went crazy. I eventually got a GeForce 6200 OC. And now on my new Dell laptop, I have a GeForce 7900 GS Go.

I'm gonna see if I can take the graphics card out of my old computer. I believe its better than the one in this computer. Only reason my old computer couldn't run it was because I was using Windows 98 not Windows 98 SE.
