I have no trouble connecting to private servers, but for some reason people like my fellow clan members can't connect to my private server, i.e. a game made by me.

I don't password them so that can't be it. Apparently it always says 'trying reconnect to server' five times then says 'failed to conect to server' on their Pc's.

Can anyone suggest why this might be?

I'm using windows firewall plus one built into my router. I'm not sure if this might be an issue.
My other system specs are below.

Thanks

Of corse the firewalls are the problem. Why the hell wouldn't it be?

erm ok nice response modemman are you that nice to everyone? I had to open ports 2302 and 2303, thanks.

The reason I thought ti wasn't the firewall is coz it never stopped me joining other people's servers, wether private or public. It doesn't say anywhere that 2302 and 2303 need to be manually opened. So STFU unless you're gonna be more helpful.

Heyyo,

ike I posted in ther other thread dude, n' since you're probably running windows xp, try deleting your bridged connections. If that's not the prob, np, you can put them back on np.

It seems bridged connections never work right with routers n' windows xp.

After deleitng them, you may need to restart your comp.
