wow, i've never seen some of those options.
Mine --- Yours
Resolution: 1280x1024 ------ Resolution: 1024x768
Refresh Rate: 75 Hz ---------- Refresh: Rate 100 Hz
---------------------------------------- Effects Detail: High
---------------------------------------- Reflections: Yes
Specular: Yes ------------------- Specular: Yes
Shadows:Yes ------------------- Shadows: Yes
Decals: Yes ---------------------- Decals: Yes
Particals: High ------------------ Particals: High
Texture Quality: High --------- Texture Quality: High
----------------------------------------- Model Quality: High
Gamma: Darken/Brighten --- Gamma: 4

Same here. If your Graphics Card or Sound Card cannot handle a particular setting (i.e Specular, EQ Sound) then that setting will simply be greyed out and not be used. This picture is clearly a fake. Or simply a cute UI mod for Halo CE that serves absolutely no purpose. (Or perhaps for some cool Halo CE mod with increased graphics that I haven't heard of yet...) Though in this case I think Occam's Razor applies.

It's faked. I've crawled around in the widget definitions long enough to know that those simply aren't there.

edit: I dont mean the options per say, but the event handlers that would take those options and apply them to the actual game/engine/output.

Wait, you mean, theoretically, a coder could enable them? Would they be able to make them work?

The few, the proud, the leet.

No, I said that although you could make the options show up, the event handlers that would actually make them work are nonexsistent. The five or so people who would know how to actually get that to show up in game wouldn't do it. It's photoshopped. I thought that was clear enough.
