One thing I might be doing with my sig is putting up some thing like (Is Online.) when I am on B.net and just before signing off change it to (Is Offline.) Do you think is could work with other people. It could be handly like pming things to mods or fellow members. Its an idea, so what do you think?

Another idea is to make some kind of thing that is under the users avatar that says online or offline.

(Off topic: Whats happening to the bottom nav-bar?)

Location: Outlaws' Summit.

I saw others doing this and thought it was a good idea.

However, me being the lazy guy that I am, I'd find it tedious to continue to do every time I want to sign off/sign on.

The reason the Moderators shouldn't have their online status visible is because spammers/trolls/flamers/whatever bad guy is out there will know when to do their bad things (because there are moments when none of them are on, even if it's for a little while, and that kind of stuff shouldn't be seen to those with bad intentions.)

I've often wondered about an online/offline feature that can be toggled though. Then the members can have one (if they wish) and the ninjas can continue doing their thing in the shadows.

~~Pardon Our Dust.~~

This topic was brought up before in another thread (Not sure if I can find it again), but I think the following topics/statements were made against it:

* Member Privacy
* Ninjas can't be Ninjas if you know they're online.
* Achronos is Lazy. ^_^

Honestly, having one wouldn't bother me much, as long as one had an option to set it to "Off", so you could stay a tad more private.

(The bottom nav bar, last I checked, is going away.)

(Shh, don't repeat it too loudly, it might hear you. It's right there.)

Yep, yep. Good ol' Nav bar. Going on vacation.. To uh, Barwaii.

Chapter

Narwhallace Smithington: Gone, but not forgotten. Never approve of anything lil guy. <3
Furious George: The new -blam!-

It would be nice to see a status icon of some sort, but there's probably a handful of code that goes with it. As mentioned, some privacy issues may arise too; I can understand why Achronos wouldn't want to do it.

Could Bungie make it an option. Only if you want to appear online, will you appear online. Chat rooms and IM programs already do that.

For the record, i'd piss my self silly if there was an Armatik action figure.

"Lazy -zapp!-, what the hell are you doing playing with me? Get to work lazy ass."

What if they only logged in for a sec?

Besides, most forums that use this feature give the ability to the user to be able to hide their on/offline display icon or whatever.
