Hello,

Thank you for participating in the Halo 2 launch, as we all know halo 2 has been anticipated for a long time by hard core gamers, Halo 2 has standards to live up to since it’s first born. From the day of release halo featured astronomical sales reaching thousands of delighted gamers over the world. On November 9th the second instalment will be released to the Xbox and later maybe PC. To celebrate the event www.Mistix.info has sponsored a game tournament which everyone can play. The game will be played on XBConnect. The best thing is we can all enjoy Halo2 multiplayer for FREE!

To configure your computer and Xbox for the tournament please use the XBConnect guides located at www.xbconnect.com.

When you have completed the set up and you can connect up to XBConnect try a test game. When you have your console set up and ready, please closes any applications that use up bandwidth while playing. These applications include the following

Microsoft Outlook/Express
Microsoft Messenger service (MSN)
Downloads
Kazaa
Imesh

By turning off applications like this will reduce bandwidth and lag that may occur. Lag is similar to low frame rates while in game. Reducing bandwidth is essential; we recommend a 512kb connection capable of 30kb/s. Any lower than this is not recommended, higher speeds will benefit your self and everyone else. While playing Halo the ping is vital, keep an eye on your ping while playing, the lower the ping the faster the game will play. As halo will not be played until the 9th it is impossible to judge the online game play speed.

The launch of Halo 2 is going to mean people joining up from all areas of the world and different warps of life. As many people will be enjoying the game we need rules to keep order. Rules will be very strict throughout game play and also talking on the headset will be monitored closely.

1. Swearing is not tolerated
2. Racial comments will cause immediate ban.
3. 56k connections are not allowed due to high ping.
4. Spamming and trolling in text area.
5. High bandwidth only
6. You must join your country's server
7. Keep teams equal if team play is involved.
8. Keep on topic
9. Use your common sense
10. Play well and enjoy!

Each game will be hosted on a server; each server will be designated to each country, allocate the server which corresponds to your country, join up and wait for a game to start. There will be 2 servers
