jackson wants the Halo movie to be PG-13 and have it R rated on the DVD
he also stated that he want this movie to be for a younger group but, i think it should be R becasue the games are M rated.
"Jackson also gives good news for younger fans who fear the movie's rating will be too harsh and for older fans who think the film's rating will be too family-friendly."-from article.
people under 17 shouldnt even be playing the games, so why make it PG-13. why edit it, and then make the DVD version more gory for the "Hardcore Fans".
i think they are off to a bad start, and they didnt even start making the movie yet. the movie has to be true to the games, with everything right, but editing it so a younger audience can watch. it's not true, its like editing out all the flood parts(gory like in the game), plasma grenades(which i was really excited about to see what actually happens to a person when they get stuck by one) and the more realistic violence.(like plasma burns, explosions, ect) not cutting everything out sothe younger people can watch.
i was really excited about the movie, but if it has a PG-13 rating on it, i never going to see it, because its not true to the games.
