After having played Halo for a long, long time now, it's only just hit me.

The opening short cinematic that shows the Bungie logo, with the dot on the I having morphed from microbes undergoing binary fission (multiplying, spreading), covering the face of our planet?

"Divide and Conquer"

It's another reference to Bungie's plot towards global domination!

Or, in general, it may just depict Bungie's growth through the gaming industry,

Meh. It's late.

Old news? Meh.

When barbecuing veggie burgers, be sure to tie your long hair back. That will keep it away from the flames, you stupid hippie.

I'm a man with a fork in a world of soup.

Well, I never picked up on that...
But then again, I'm not too bright.

Anyway, good for you!!!

For the record, i'd piss my self silly if there was an Armatik action figure.

"Lazy -zapp!-, what the hell are you doing playing with me? Get to work lazy ass."

Hah, I haven't seen this come up for quite some time..

I think of it as Bacteria-like things crawling around, and then going out to the World. I think it's quite the clever logo. However, it's still just a logo. Don't lose sleep over it.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. It has symbolic meaning.

Yes, and interestingly enough, if you watch closely, you can see that the bacteriums begin to spread from the north western part of North America. I'd wager a bucket of Frankie's hair clippings that the first one divides over the Seatle-Kirkland area.

If you don't got it, you want it. If you got it, you want more of it. Of course if you don't know what it is, it's hard to get any in the first place.

You should see the intro they used to use....had a black hole and eveything...then!

there was only Bungie...
