I thnk b.net is growing worse. Some major spammers are starting to come in. PP as I call him, has already made more than 80 accounts and just spams and trolls for hours a day.

It will soon get worse.

Try to go through a spam invasion

Not really. They've always been here. They just don't come consistently.

I think it's improved a lot since I've been here, which has been a little less then a year, but still even over that amount of time I've seen good change. The group wars were retarded but every community has it's idiots.

(10:19:49 PM) Scruss: oh and pezza, i saw what you did to that cat
(10:20:17 PM) Pezza: You were the one with the video camera breathing heavily. Of course you saw.

In a way its degrading socially, just look at most of the main forums: New Mombasa, Halo 3 forums, etc. Site wise though, we get a good amount of updates even if they are just propaganda used by Bungie's big daddy (Microsoft) to make us buy other games.

Its all good, hopefully we will get less retarded people later on after Halo 3's release.

Yes it is improving, the search feature and, the group system is great; except for the immature behavior of certain members who seem to get joy out of ruining groups. I would like to see a post count system on b.net so that those of us who are group leaders can have the convince of knowing who is active, and who is not. Also I think b.net needs a few more moderators in order to control spam, and the growing number of members. Other than that, I don’t see any decline in b.net as a whole.

Good to see at least somebody takes this place seriously

I am sincerely disappointed in everyone except JIMH. JIMH, have a gold star.

In the short time I have been here it has improved subtlely. The biggest change I saw was with the new moderaters. They do there job well and are occaisionally funny. :) Spammers have died down over time, but are still managing to creep in every now and then, but I expect that to change for a while with the fabled "New Hotness v.2" It will bring in new members and with the good come the bad. It will be interesting if nothing else.

The Frozen Minority - The most infamous clan borne from the Seventh Column.

People seem less forgiving compared to two years ago. I am sure one of the older members will inform me that before 04 it was even better - I don't really know. Only vague memories of T&R remain for me.

People are just more jaded now than they were when I was new here. A bad post pre-H2 would be met with constructive critisicm, now a bad post is met with "u retard".

In summary:
Read Gendo's post.

I'll be on my own side.

B.net has been in a decline since the launch of Halo 2, but I think once Halo 3 has launched and the dust has settled, a lot of the idiots will leave once they find out that (hopefully), Bungie will have moved on to something new. That, and I'm sure a lot of them will go to the Ensemble forums to whine about Halo Wars.

They do seem to pop up every once and a while. The ninjas usually take them out before they can do much harm.
