Hey, I'm a windows XP/Red Hat Linux/Damn Small Linux/Mac OS X user(planning to upgrade to Vista right when it comes out) and I use macs at school and I personally love Windows XP, Red Hat Linux, and Mac OS X, so no flame wars people. I would like to discuss the possibilities of Halo 2 on the mac. I know Microsoft wants to launch Halo 2 on Vista to jump start its sales of the operating system, but I'm thinking that the mac could play Halo 2 with lower settings(like DirectX 9.) There are so many ways the mac could take advantage of Halo 2(built-in web cam and mic in iMacs,) like the voice chat that will be in Halo 2 PC you could use the mic to speak without having an external microphone. The gameplay would be very similar thanks to the mighty mouse(yay! Left and right click ahoy!) I'm really hoping this doesn't turn into a flame war because I know it will somehow. Please don't make fun of the mac and how it is different, and actully post a good statement if you disagree, thanks.

Sorry, dude, but it doesn't seem like H2 is coming to Mac anytime soon. That's my opinion.

I'm absolutely fine with that fact, but this is a discussion about weither or not it should be on macs.

wat school uses mac's? theyre too expensive for an average school, and the software used wouldnt be something a student could use in an average job.

anyway, i think they should make a mac versoin, theres no reason why they shouldnt except they want halo 2 to be vistas flagship, not leopard (i think thats the new mac os, isnt it?)[Wyffel: Yep]

since microsoft bought bungie, u will never see a mac version of anything ever again. its a pity, i have nothing against mac's, but its micosoft were talkin bout.

My school uses macs because Apple has an education program that gives public schools a huge discount on macs.

Oh yeah, Microsoft might want it to be used as a flagship game, but I think Bungie still could work with MacSoft to make a port of it to the .Mac for the lesser minority of people that use macs. Microsoft(I atlease think) could allow it without that map creator and some stuff taken out(like DirectX 10-Like mac program.) But yeah, they could still port it over.
