I work at Microsoft. I have nothing to do with Halo and nothing I say is "the official word".

There used to be a sticky, but no one read it so now it is under "read me first" in optimatch

Oh wait, you mean a thread to post them to.
The email is the best way to do it anyway I would assume.

If you can take the time to go onto the forums, find the games you got cheated on, and fill out your report in a forum, surely it will take just as much time to send an e-mail.

"Whatever exists, whatever in creation exists without my knowledge exists without my consent. These anonymous creatures may seem little or nothing in the world. Yet the smallest crumb can devour us. Any smallest thing beneath yon rock out of men's knowing. Only nature can enslave man and only when the existence of each last entity is routed out and made to stand naked before him will he be properly suzerain of the earth."

But recon, if there was already a spot for him to put it, he wouldnt be being naughty by putting it there.

But there is, and it is constantly thrown at members time and time again. The e-mail system works fine.

Halo3Planet, the place for all things Halo 3..

Need help finding skulls, make sure to go here.

It will probably take just as long for them to get banned in a cheating forum as it does with the email. Somebody from Bungie would still have to check it out just to make sure there was cheating, because some people would just be saying to ban someone who didn't cheat just to be funny. The email is more effeceint, because there are people who's specific job is to check out the games and see if there was cheating.

"I pledge to punch all switches, to never shoot where I could use grenades, to admit the existence of no level except Total Carnage, to never use caps lock as my "run" key, and to never, ever, leave a single BoB alive."

2B || !2B - Why don't you look Inside the Machine?

No there shouldn't be one because Bungie isn't the proper place to take up the issues with cheaters. You are supposed to E-mail h2cheats@microsoft.com about cheaters, as in standbyers/modders/bridgers...

But that is why the people would be SELECTED, as is, pick people who wouldnt do stupid things like that.

How will Bungie know that the "selected" know what they are talking about when it comes to cheating. They may see a game that is 50-5. and assume that it must have been modding, when the other team may have just been standing still the whole time. Also, they cannot determine stand-by, Just because a person's game is in italics, it doesn't necessarily mean standby. It could have just been a really laggy game. The people Bungie select would have to have professional training to be able to determine cheating or not. The system works the way it is. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I also saw someone post that Bungie tried to make a cheating thread. There became too many people reporting gamers whod didn't cheat, so it was a lot of work to figure out which was which. A cheating forum would also not work any faster than the H2cheats email.
