It'd be quite funny to see the moderators blacklisting each other.

After reading my first post I found that I myself, the thread creator, have not stated my favorite moment on these forums. It would have to be way back when Greenchief made the thread on "Posting your pictures." Besides seeing a comical pics and getting a couple laughs, what made me really laugh was how the entire Flood went (O.o) when Atsumi and Lacrimosa posted their pictures. Made me laugh for a couple of minutes to see all the flirting they got after that stunt.

Actually, the story stated above was my second place runner. It was Obbi's accouncement to the world that he was a guy that made me laugh the most but Atsumi posted it so I tried picking something more "fresh."

Edit: Grammatical changes.

Alta's weekly update.

It was a lighthearted fun romp -- and it separated the idiots from the fans.

I also had my least favorite moment at the same time -- Getting caught in the middle of a flamewar, I got a PM from Achronos.

It wasn't angry or insulting etc.... It was simply a short sentence, terse in tone that said " I suggest you not do [that] again"

I won't elaborate on what 'that' was, but suffice it to say, it scared the bejeezus out of me... Before that I thought he was a myth!!!

I think the answer to this one may be the thread containing the "War Shoe" topic. I don't quite remeber what it was called but they wouldnt stop taking my War Shoe.

Yeah, that was definitely pretty cool. I have yet to play Myth, but I am desperately searching the Long Island area in hopes of finding a copy of it. It's definitely nice to see that there are still some Bungie fans who love more than just Halo around these days. :-D.

First time yeroen replied to one of my many pm's. I was so excited back then about being able to communicate with a god. This was like 4 years ago or something, lol.

I blacklisted stosh for a short period of time.

...and I removed him from the blacklist after Sketch SCREAMED across the studio. Good times. ;-)

Blacklisting Stosh actually disgorged a bug in blacklisting we hadn't seen before, so something positive came of it after all.

Oh yea I remember that. I thought Achronos was -blam!- around with my account again. I know he does that. I just know he's going to curb my stat's somehow.

I only have bad moments :(
j/k i had many good moments, but i can't pick the greatest one:

1. me being (sort of) nominated for being a new b.net mod. I didn't get the job, but it was great to know that they actually thought about me.

2. Getting my very first replie from sketch after sending 30 PM's to frankie and only one to sketch. it was like recieving a message from god.

3. making it into the N00b Quoting Centre together with goweb, stosh, newnab, Rip Saw and a bunch of others, because we were acting stupid at soffish.com (we couldn't find eachother in all the rooms)

4. me and Nab making it into NQC again(soffish chat was involved again). rip saw asked us to say some stupid things for NQC, since we thought it was just a joke, we did it with pleasure. We said things like
"Who is Frankie?" and "Does Bungie make bungee ropes or something?"
But Rip Saw actually posted it. thank god he removed it again.

We’ve watched while the stars burned
Out, and creation played in reverse.
The Universe freezing in half-light.
Once I thought to escape.
To end a master, step out of the
Path of collapse. Escape would make us God.
Yet I cannot help but remember one enigma,
A hybrid, elusive destroyer.
This is the one mystery I have not solved.
The only element unaccounted for.

My favorite memory is the thread that made me decide to join; the one about age vs. maturity awhile back that was started by durandal buncha numbers. Aka Gaara of Sand now.
It showed me that there was/is more than just Halo and Halo 2 talk on this forum. I would have joined the next day, but unfortunately I had to go to camp the following morning for a week. I joined immediatly once I returned and have not been dissapointed.

Hmm, would that happen to be Scout camp? My favorite moment was when I added Rip Saw to my MSN buddy list and talked to him for the first time. It was really cool to actually talk to someone and make friends with that person on the Internet. That list has grown, but Rip Saw was the first.

With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

I'll have to say (although I'm contradicting what Ix (me) said, somewhat) that I agree... that was my favorite time on these forums. Discussions like that are the best part about these forums... but, unfortunately, those discussions rarely pop up. Ah well...

If only I could remember my thread ideas when I think of them... but I foget about them before I get to the forums... and the things that I do post are much less... interesting (for lack of better word) than I'd like them to be.

Yep, It was indeed scout camp. Camp Parsons in Washington State. It rained very very hard.

Did you get your Shai account to work, or are you still on your laptop?
And yeah, I also wish that there would be more topics like that. Someone should make a "Philosophy in Marathon" topic or something. Anything that would get Recon to wax eloquent and spark a conversation.
