says 360 exclusive, but remember how KOTOR1&2, Halo, Halo 2 were exclusive right?

ROFFLES!!! To answer your question no. Well not YET at least, it might come to PC just not for a while.

Nope, they're creating it for the 360 ground up. If it's ever ported to pc, it'll have horrible controls and ui(oblivion), and likely be laggy/stutter(halo pc).

As me15ter put it so elegantly...

EVERYTHING is a guess until we the final product

For my personal opinion...I have a feeling it will.

However, it is just a guess.

I posted a thread about Halo Wars here in the Maw a while ago and it disappeared. Wtf?

/broken record

Anyway, I'm disa-ma-pointed that it's 360 exclusive. I mean, I have a 360 anyway, so I'll go out and buy it once it's released, but I think that a RTS is meant for the PC. Maybe consoles can get away with first person shooters and role-playing games, but MMORPGs and RTS are best played on PCs. Actually so are other genres, but that's just my opinion.

I wonder if the Wolf thinks the Moon listens when he howls at it.

theres a good chance that it will go to pc even though it isnt being made by bungie.

Those darn consoles stealing our precious PC games...grr...

And yeah, you're right, almost anything is well played on the PC, well besides racing and flight simulation. I mean, I cannot imagine controling a plane and a race car with a mouse and the WASD setup. I got surprised when I went to Best Buy to buy Call of Duty 2 PC, because I saw Midnight Club 2 (as you all know, that's a racing game) for the PC right next to it.

I have Need For Speed 3 for PC somewhere...
Flight sims do belong on consoles, unless you have a decent joystick for your PC. Space fighter sims, however, just feel right on the PC. I have recently rediscovered one of the best space sims ever, Freelancer. Kickass game, with surprisingly revolutionary controls. Just hope M$ (it's an M$ game) will make either a sequel or expansion...

I have to challenge that arguement. This isnt a Bungie game, Ensemble is making it, and if it is ported to PC, they will do it. Also, have you ever played any Age of Empires game? You will know that the controls do not suck. How can you can say that the controls will be WORSE than the 360 controller for an RTS??!?!? I dont understand your logic.

Likewise, I'm very interested in seeing how they're gonna implement the controls. I mean, strategy games are almost always on the PC, so unless they're creating something along the lines of Full Spectrum Warrior or something...I don't see how the controls will be too user friendly.

Simply put, there's just too much stuff to do for a 10-button, 2-joystick controller to handle.

What he means is that it happens more on the console than the PC, because PC has hundreds of keys you could integrate into a certain setup, but a 360 controller, has like what, 2 joysticks and 9-10 buttons? If you end up pressing the wrong button, then something could happen, for example, in PC, where you could just make your units stand in one spot, in a console, if you press X instead of A (just pretend) after highlighting them, your whole unit might run into a trap you knew to avoid.
