I can't believe no one linked to Shishka's post.

Some people do overreact. There isn't anything necessarily wrong with making two posts back to back if each is addressing a different idea. Sometimes people "double post" to respond to multiple people with quoting.

Generally, as long as the topics have content to back sequential replies, it should be fine. The whole think before you post mentality.

I'm a loser.

But a correct loser at that.

I think there is nothing wrong with double-posting and that everyone here is asserting a position for the sake of security. For this, let's assume double-posting was used constructively and not destructively.

Double-Posting is the same as regular posting but the difference is that it's in two boxes. Really I don't see the problem with this because Double-Posting is the same as scrolling through a single post because the poster spaced too much.

Like this, something like this is probably the equivalent of scrolling down because someone double-posted. Does it bother you? Does it make you mad? Regardless or not, it's your idea of the situation and it's because of this that people have taken a negative stand towards double-posting. It happens ok? It just does. Someone could "accidently" double post, and assuming people take negative stands will automatically attack the double-poster for reasons abstained.

I made a second post just to prove this point. Are you mad? Does this make you angry? In the most cases, double posts only happen accidently or because the poster didn't know that double-posting is taboo. TABOO because we the community have generated such a negativity for this when it's really senseless and stupid because you're overreacting over nothing. AGAIN, we're assuming double-posting is used constructively and not destructively, so don't fly off the handle and attack me now because my intention was not to "piss you off" if that's what you're feeling right now.

This case of "double-posting" is about the same as "typos" in posts. I don't even need evidence to show you guys how people who make typos in posts are attacked in the same fashion as double-posters are. It's all senseless and stupid and a damn unreasonable reason to be mad. AGAIN we're assuming constructively instead of destructively. It's because of this that forums have decayed the manners of people whom attend them because of stupid -blam!- like this. People who overreact over double-posters and negate their integrity as a person who has a brain. This is how the 13-year olds turn into asses, and this is how college students turn into terrorists (yeah that's exaggerated, I know).

AGAIN, we're assumnig all this is constructive and not destructive. For those who haven't a clue, this means that there's no malice when making this mistake if you can call it one.

P.S. - I've made a typo somewhere, can you find it? If so will you neglect this post and call me an idiot because of it?
