I say it's practice, and if you come from old skool shooters (like, me I was all Q3A baby! lol.. and the Original UT, and oh, I used to do the Marathon series and Duke Nukem 3D the Atomic Edition which btw is freeware now, and there's been several ports of DN3D to windows instead of msdos, neat-o I say.) Your skill is already very high for FPS. If you're having probs with games like Halo, revert to old skool shooters, develop your skills like I did, and then once you bring those old skool skills to new games you've already gotta advantage of pre-built up skill. I find with most new shooters, the pace is just too fast for beginners to get a good hold of, Q3A was pretty fast, but you can easily train on that game, and then once I brought that to UT2k3-4 I just readjusted my skills to a faster pace is all. ;)
