Well, N0F has been cracking down on the Glitch Threads that ask how you do them.

He always says something like this before locking them:

Posted by: Ninja 0n Fire
Do not discuss the malicious exploitation of glitches.

And sometimes he threatens to ban people who continue providing details on how to Glitch.

But it's just him that I notice doing it. And to be honest, it's fine by me if people want to learn how to glitch because if I feel wronged by a glitcher, I can always leave Feedback.

What I don't like are the people who always have to bring up a new Thread asking "Is this Cheating?"

Seriously, those should be locked on sight.

I would have to say that anyone promoting BXR and super jumping and the methods by witch to do it, are just the same as people promoting cheating. Modders and other cheaters are a thorn in the side of the Halo communitry. If Shiska says it's cheating it's cheating. These glitches provide an unfair advantage in combat. They were not meant to be part of gameplay and superjumping nullifies map balance and strategy( turf is a fine example of this). My friend tried to show me bxr and superjumping and I REFUSE to utilize such a cowardly tactic. People went out of their way to discover these glitches so they could be gain an unfair edge to compensate for lack of skill. I want to play Halo the way it was meant to be played. When H3 arrives and these problems are resolved, players who relied on these cheats will realize they are outmatched by skilled players.

Yeah ban them, that way it will cut down on the number of people able to perform these glitches. Not many figure these glitches/cheats on their own, I bet 80 - 95% of people were shown how to do this by others.

Block those people sharing this and it may cut down on the amount of exploiters.

That's what I'm talkin' about. I say if these cheateters are such a bane on the community, why are they allowed a voice in it? Stop the spread of the cheating vvoices! Right on!

Osmosis!

There isn't such a rule becuase the rules on these glitches are so blurred... it's not very easy to tell how much they affect the game play.

Nice idea though, it would certainitly clear up lots of those hopeless annoying threads
