I've been wondering, and this is for mods to answer, is there a specified amount of time you have to be on in order to become a ninja?

Don't take this as a "ZOMG MAKE ME A NINJA!1!11!!" thread, because it isn't. This is purely out of curiosity.

Sorry to intrude yet IMO I would assume you would become a Ninja until you basically know your way around here good to everyone have constant knowledge of them. Also there wouldn't be a time limit becoming a Ninja would most likely happen in the most of unexpected situations...

Moderator FAQ.

Yes, thank you, I've read it.

I looked it over again, and it seems they took out the part where it says "We try not to look at join dates."

Or maybe I'm just imagining things.

They don’t care how long you have been a member, they care about track record for behavior partly, but they are also looking for different qualities in a member. If you display those traits then they watch you more closely, and if you turn out to be a well minded, constructive, and not a complete jerk who could possibly abuse moderator privileges they make you a ninja.

Well, I checked all the guidelines, and the only one I don't fill much is time on Bungie.net. Everything else I'm very knowledgeable of. I've just only been on for nearly four months. : )

People who become moderators isnt decided on how they post, length of time here, or how well they can post. Its about getting along with the community well

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

I doubt it.

Some of the ninjas havnt been here that long.

Ach! Was ist los?

Being a veteran has no bearing on ninja qualifications.

For example, I've been here longer than several other ninja, but was only selected as part of the most recent recruitment.
