CMT anyone?

And actually the flamethrower is in the xbox version, just not implemented. It's been rebuilt by the FTC team and others before. Same goes for the gravity gun.

I wonder if the Wolf thinks the Moon listens when he howls at it.

technichly its somewhatnew because this is the newer version of halo 1. if u look closely on the pistol there are 2 japonese symbols one on the butt and another on the top sliding part.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time. I know who you are. You are destiny.

Nope, it's chinese. Doesn't look like japanese, and believe me, I know chinese.

oops, missed your post oobie

Yeah, a lot of japanese is derived from traditional chinese, and then you have the whole simplified chinese thing.

But I think it's chinese, as they used the chinese symbol for 7 quite often.

He's right, Japanese consists of three types of writing: Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji, the third of which is basically standard Han-era Chinese.

Honestly, though, it looks like japanese more than it does chinese (I grew up in a Chinese household, though I can't personally read it). I know that on the M6D, there's a japanese character inscribed on the...I think the barrel of the gun? Seeing that Bungie apparently makes japanese references, I would assume this would be a japanese character.

The symbol on the pistol, if interpreted as chinese, is seven, and so that makes perfect sense. Anyone here read Japanese and can tell us the Japanese version? Probably 7 as well, I think.

Yeah, the symbol on the pistol means 7 in Japanese.

Coincidentally, the symbol on the pistol also looks like an upside down 7 with a hash mark across it. So, if you looked at the pistol from the other point of view, then it would look like a seven.

Coincidentally, in Chinese, the number 7 means "chii", or power.

Power is Darker, anyone?
