What is this obsession with wanting to see blood anyway?

It's not an obsession to see blood/gore, it's an obbsession to see realism.

I'm quite well read myself, everything from Ender's Game to the Lord of the Rings. I was reading Clive Barker back in grade school because I didn't like Stephen King. I've also been published. How about you?

What is your name, what is the title of the book, and where can I get it. By the way, I've been reading LOTR since 3rd Grade and it never gets old.

you are kind of contradicting yourself. You want to see realism, but you don't like me pointing out the realism issues

OK slick. Put down the covenants guide to everything about their anatomy and physiology. These suggestions were only to be applied to the covenant and their armor is a nominal detail when you are dealing with the high grade weapons the military posses. The blood could escape the wound the same size as the entry wound, because if it did damage armor was punctured. I would advise that you not apply true physics ( covenant armor and its ability to retain blood), otherwise you'll end up ruining a good game. Chew on that.

I really can't see halo as a blood and gore game, it kind of takes awayfrom what it is. If you want a blood and gore game, go get Soldier of Fortune II, or half-life, or even better if you REALLY want to see blood and gore, go to Iraq and see how there doing.

FeRReTx, if you read it over maybe you will change your mind. I'm saying that the realism factor is important. I'm not looking to have halo 2 be a blood drive, but I want the sense of realism. An extreme amount of gore is not realistic, so it is not a realistic issue.

On the Weekly update they said that they were still working on a new covenant vehicle and a new covenant, I don't think they are at that checkpoint yet...

It's in an anthology of Short Fiction entitled Full Circle. I have the honour of being the last story in the book and the piece is called "Kittrienne's Gamble." A short piece of fantasy set aboard star faring sailing vessels. I might have an electronic copy on my old computer somewhere if you wish me to find it.

Good luck finding it though. Oh, and my editor was a bastard and I love him for it. He really rode my buttocks and I appreciated it.
