this is gonna rock! i need to start playin halo multiplayer again to get warmed up
dude choas its a whole other ball game. Halo 2 is way different. Ofcourse it helps to have a halo background but theres no health, new weopons, and dual weilding! Im going to have to remember to pull that left trigger
Woah, hold up. It will be different, but it won't be a whole new ball game. The feel of the game will be the same, the sounds, the graphics (well, not really), they'll all feel the same practically. Now, the sword and dual weilding will feel different and I'm gonna do that stuff, but I'm gonna stick to my old school style / Assault , which will be Battle R1fle, and dual SMGs (To make more . I won't use both at once). The map layout and appearance will also feel very Haloish and even though you'll see a Banshee at a Wraith while the guy behind comes up with a Brute Shot, it'll play the same.
Differen't, yes. Whole New Ball Park, No. It's just a home run.
Godfather my man what im saying is "as in a whole other ball game is" the first hour of play multi your going to get your ass kicked. serious. The graphics= way better, weapons= none of the old weapons are in halo as far as i can tell and you will get owned in a close range if you have the battle and your opponent has dual whatever. What im trying say it will have an old halo feel but your going to have to bring a whole new strategy to different situations. By far i must say whatever imperfections there were in halo, halo 2 makes up for it. like balanced weapons a more fare shield/health bar.
Hippo. I know what you mean. But the Assault R1fle will be just like the SMG, except stronger, giving me a bit of an edge (as well as the enemy). And practice with the will hurt my feeling of damage w/ the Battle R1fle, but it will only make my aim better. Same with the maps, same with the vehicles, and same with the new shields.
What I'm going to do is play the first 2 levels on Heroic to get a feel, then the forst 2 on legendary to master them (that time will be spent from 6-12 PM November 8th ) and then, when XBl opens up, blam! I'll have a good feel for everything. Not perfect, but a good feel.
I also quote from page 46 of issue 133 of Game Informer: [b] "Judging form the feedback on the newsgroups, everyone that participated in the alpha had an amazing time. One comment I saw often was that they liked that the game felt like a natural extension of the original-like an old friend , only with a new look, a clean haircut, and a fat wad of cash (upgrades to the graphic engine + new vehicles and weapons).
